St. Paul is governed by its Board of Trust, the members of which are elected by the Board of Trust and confirmed by St. Paul Community Church. The Board has 18 elected members, two of whom are chosen from the church; the remaining 16 are chosen from among the school’s broader constituencies. The Senior Pastor of the church and the President of Parent Council also serve as ex-officio members of the Board of Trust.
The Board is a strategic board; its role is to ensure the school remains true to its mission and that its financial position is secure. The Board sets policy for the school and makes one personnel decision, choosing a head of school.
The Head of School functions as a chief executive officer and is charged with leading all day-to-day operations of the school and implementing Board policy.
